This was my first photographic essay. With that said...
When I was first given the assignment, I thought it was simple. Which it is, but not as simple as it seems. It was hard to tell a story with out the words. I kept finding myself wanting to add captions, but my captions would speak too much for the photos. The photos should be sequential and flow correctly. At some points, it was hard to decide which picture I should place next. One picture misplaced, could potentially ruin the story. I did not think it was going to be hard to capture an important event with only photographs.
This was a fun project...maybe next time I will try a podcast.

I totally hear you! As soon as Shaun started talking about not having words I was like oh-oh... good thing I just gave a link to an "example" from my previous work, else it'd mean I did the assignment all wrong.
